On behalf of my family, and myself I would like to offer sincere thanks to all those involved in the supply and maintenance of emergency pendant devices. Not only are they practical and easy to wear and use, but they are surely a MUST for all elderly vulnerable people, especially those living alone. Everyone should have one! My dear mother in law, Doris was never in favour of wearing a pendant initially, but eventually she succumbed as she became more unstable. I recall her saying that she felt it was ‘like an insurance’, and wearing the pendant was not easily visible under clothing. Her valuable insurance paid off the night she fell and was unconscious for several hours, before coming too, and pressing the red panic button.
Immediately Doris was able to summon help in the early hours with her wonderful panic button, by means of raising the alarm with a neighbour and the paramedics. Safely in hospital, Doris received excellent care for her various injuries, including a stroke. However, she sadly passed away peacefully a few days after admittance. I can’t help but think, had she not have been wearing her pendant, she’d have merely slipped away, alone, in her conservatory. Instead, she had all her family at her bedside, was comfortable, and out of pain. Doris knew we were with her, which remains a great comfort to us all. As a family we fully endorse the product and for what it stands for ‘Immediate help at hand- at any time of day’. We advice anyone who is vulnerable to wear one, as it makes good sense. After all, it really is just like an insurance.
Our sincere thanks to you all.
