The Worcester & Droitwich Small Business Support Group (www.worcesterbusinesssupport.info or www.droitwichbusinesssupport.info ), which launched successfully at a special event last November, will launch the first of a monthly series of business support meetings this month on Thursday 21st January 2010, 7.00am at The Fownes Hotel, Worcester.
The group has the full support and endorsement of Business Link West Midlands and the group aims to be a source of information for small businesses and those interested in setting up their own businesses can gain answers to a variety of questions they may have in the crucial early stages. Representatives from a variety of different fields have come forward to act as advisors including accountancy, business management and coaching, internet security, human resources, sales, PR/marketing, ecommerce, graphic/web design and other general support services.
Unlike other business breakfast meetings this one aims to be a drop in monthly event, meaning that delegates don’t have to sign up to monthly fees for membership and can “pay as they go”. The cost of each business breakfast is £10.00.
Lisa Ventura, who is one of the group organisers said: “Following the success of our launch event last November we3 are delighted to launch the first in this monthly series of meetings, where delegates can gain information on a wide variety of business topics and news, network with like-minded people and more. We wanted to create a community of business people who would be committed to helping support other businesses especially during the current recession, to be on hand to answer any questions or queries they have and offer valuable support online and face to face”.
